Both Dr. Birnbaum and Dr. Aaronson understand the complexities of neuromuscular dentistry and how to properly diagnose and treat Temporomandibular Disorder (TMJ) through a variety of treatment modalities. We offer a wide range of treatment options, from Aqualizers and TENS therapy to night guards and Botox treatment to help alleviate jaw pain and migraines.

Sports Dentistry
A member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry, Dr. Aaronson has a passion for treating athletes, from protection in the form of mouthguards and prevention by teaching about the dangers of chewing tobacco, to treatment of traumatic sports injuries. Dr. Aaronson has lectured and written peer-reviewed articles on the subject of custom mouthguards, and has also been sought out by the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins to help protect their athletes.

Lip and Tongue Ties
Dr. Aaronson has been trained in proper diagnosis and treatment of lip and tongue ties. She uses a laser to quickly and nearly painlessly release ties to allow for proper movement of the lips and tongue. We are also proud to have a trained lactation counselor on staff to help moms and babies during and after frenectomy treatments. Our breastfeeding-friendly office has comfortable chairs for you to nurse your baby before and after treatment.
